Challenge yer mateys in a glam contest, give no quarter in a dock diving gil competition, and hunt for the elusive Dead Man's Chest — all while indulging in a menu of bountiful drinks that are sure to shiver yer timbers.
Enjoy a themed evening of immersive roleplaying, live music, competitive games, and random giveaways! (Talking like a pirate is not required but highly encouraged.)

Destination
Hoist the Colors will be taking place aboard the pirate ship off the eastern coastline of Costa del Sol. Certain activities (such as the bar) will be stationed at the island cabana.Be sure you can access Costa del Sol in Eastern La Noscea before the party! If you do not have flying unlocked yet in A Realm Reborn areas, then you may post in /shout or /yell with your location, and someone will come to ferry you to the party location!

Throughout the Evening
Legend tells of a forgotten treasure once belonging to the pirate crew known as Stormcry that is believed to have washed up on the shores of Costa del Sol after the entrance to their stronghold collapsed during the Calamity. Often referred to as "Cassiopeia's Treasure," it now lies buried beneath the gleaming golden sands of Bloodshore... and it might be yours for the taking, should fortune favor you.
Dead Man's Chest Rules
All guests will be eligible to participate, so long as they are present during the event. No prior sign-up is required!
When the host posts "GO!" in chat, type /random to roll your dice.
The player who rolls the closest to the number 666 will win the prize for that round! Prizes will range between 50k-150k gil.
Should a player roll 666 exactly, they will win the grand prize of 1,000,000 gil. This prize is only available once per night!

Walk the Plank Dock Diving Gil Competition

All hands hoy! It's time to throw yer'selves into the briny deep below for the chance to win! Will you land upon the treasure-marked spot and fill your coffer with a plentiful bounty... or will you end up feeding the fishes?(A warning to guests: there is no lifeguard on duty, so those who struggle with swimming are encouraged to remain on dry land. Guests should also note that the coral reefs below are home to several species of sharks and participation is at their own risk.)
Walk the Plank Rules
Guests will line up on the wooden dock beside the cabana at (X: 37.1, Y: 25.1) and wait for the signal before jumping into the water below.
Several invisible waymarkers will be placed at random. If a guest lands on one of these markers, they'll win various levels of gil!
There will be five rounds of this game.

If you've taken up the sail and dressed the part for this swashbuckling soirée, why not take the chance to show off your finest seafaring fashions in our Pirate Glam Contest?This competition encourages guests to demonstrate their pirate fashion sense... or lack thereof! We don't want you to just bring your best glam. We want you to bring your funniest, ugliest, and most creative pirate outfits (along with dazzling performances) to see if you can win the crowd's favor... and their votes! Savvy?
Glamour Contest Rules
Applications will close on July 22 @ 12 AM EST. Walk-on contestants will be accepted during the party, but they will go on stage after pre-registrations.
Your glamour must be themed around pirates and the high seas - but it need not be serious! Be creative; think of what will win the best audience reactions!
For those who sign up prior to the event, you'll receive an email with your placement in the queue. Please take note of the participant before you so you're ready to get up on "stage" (the top deck: X:38.7, Y: 24.7) during your turn! Contestants will have 30 seconds to make it on stage when their name is called. If a contestant is not present for their turn, they will have the chance to perform at the end of the queue. If they are not present for that final call, their participation will be forfeited.
When your name is called, head to the the stairs on the right side of the stage. You may change into your glam there (unless your transformation is part of your presentation). Once you're ready, head up to center stage and wow the crowd! Please limit your "performance" to 90 seconds or less.
After the final contestant is finished, the audience will cast their votes by submitting their response via Google Form that will be provided in /shout chat. Audience members will be limited to two votes: their favorite contestant, and a runner-up. (We encourage PS4/PS5 players to have access to a web browser via their phone or other internet-capable device to type in the Google Form URL! Should this not be possible for you, please notify an 𝔼𝔻𝔾𝔼 staff member!)
Once the votes are in, the winners will be announced!

A stirred cocktail served over ice, this chilling drink combines equal parts gin, herb-infused liqueur, and a sweet fortified wine—but what truly threatens to drag you to the depths is the aromatic and flavorful addition of pomegranate juice. Darkened with activated charcoal and garnished by orange peel and pomegranate arils, the final touch comes from the infusion of a smoking sage leaf.
The Whorleater
